Gladstone region's families are invited to participate in a program of free activities at the Gallery / Museum these September holidays, in Surrealism for Kids a tour which is part of Brisbane's Gallery of Modern Art’s major exhibition ‘Surrealism: The Poetry of Dreams’.
In support of NAIDOC Week 2011, the Gladstone Regional Council called for entries in the 2011 Celebrate NAIDOC Week Primary School Art Competition.
The competition was open to ALL primary school students in the Gladstone Region to help us celebrate the National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee, (NAIDOC) Week, in the Gladstone region.

Central Queensland film makers had a spot in the limelight during the Gladstone Regional Council's EcoFest celebrations last Sunday June 5, when Queensland Alumina Limited Managing Director, Phil Campbell and Gladstone Arts Council President, Christian Thomsen announced the winners of the 2011 Green Scenes: Environmental Short Film Festival.
Eight exceptional entries were received in the
