

Celebrating World Environment Day (5 June 2013), the Gladstone Arts Council presents Green Scenes, an environmental short film competition for budding and professional filmmakers.
The call for entries goes out to the public to create, (using current content,) a 30 second high impact film reflecting World Environment Day 2013's theme, Think. Eat. Save.
All films will be on display Sunday 2 June

Each year, in conjunction with Gladstone Regional Council's EcoFest celebrations, the Gladstone Arts Council calls for entries from groups or individuals of all ages and levels of experience to submit an environmentally messaged short film.

The old Town Hall was reopened as the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum at Easter time 1985. The team has been busy ever since bringing exhibitions to the region for the last twenty-eight years.
It has seen many staff members come and go in that time but has always maintained a strong female workforce. 2012 was a special year as for only the second time a man joined the team. Harry
