Expressions of Interest for Queensland’s First Highway Ephemeral Arts Exhibition Opens

Wrapt in Mugul, Queensland’s first highway and rainforest exhibition is calling for expressions of interest from central Queensland artists.

The Wrapt in Mugul project will place five large scale artworks along a 30km stretch of the Bruce Highway between the small townships of Bororen and Miriam Vale.

A further ten artworks will be placed in the rainforest setting at the base of Mt Colosseum (or Mugul as it is known by the Traditional Owners, the Gooreng Gooreng).

The inaugural exhibition will be held between July and September 2021.

Expressions of interest are being sought from artists throughout central Queensland and the state, please download media release documents below for details.
