Fears and Phobias

by Jude Kennedy (Brannigan)

-

In this powerful exhibition, the artist explores the many forms that fear can take, from everyday phobias to anxiety, isolation and mental illness.

Through a collection of hand-built ceramic ‘voodoo dolls’, deeply personal emotions are transformed into physical objects, giving shape to experiences that are often difficult to express.

By capturing fear in ceramic, the artist invites us to view these emotions from a new perspective. Rather than allowing fear to remain hidden or overwhelming, Fears and Phobias creates a space for reflection, empathy and conversation, encouraging visitors to consider both their own fears and the unseen challenges faced by others.
