Gladstone Region RADF supports development of local arts and culture

Gladstone Regional Council at its general meeting on December 19 last year, endorsed recommendations of the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Committee awarding $26,877 in funding during the recent round.

Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said endorsement followed the RADF assessment meeting on November 29.

“It is great that the RADF will support these four arts and cultural experiences which will be able to be appreciated and enjoyed by the wider community,” Councillor Burnett said.

“These include an installation made from recycled materials for Gladstone Festival and Events, a work titled Love Sick with a series of workshops, the creation of music videos and a series of curated exhibitions by talented local artists and arts workers.”
