Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM) selects exhibition in several strategic ways that reflect community desires and tourism drivers, while maintaining our commitment to growing and developing regional creative talent. We also introduce our audiences to cultural content from other regional and national centres to continue to broaden their knowledge and experiences.

Featuring the stories of local Special Seniors, prepared and presented by Year 8 students of Miriam Vale State School, to celebrate Seniors Week Queensland (17-25 August 2013).
Official opening and launch of the publication by Cr Gail Sellers, Mayor Gladstone Region and guest speakers, 1pm Tuesday 8 October 2013. A light lunch will be served from 12pm.

This exhibition forcefully investigates the human condition with 35 artist books, assemblages, collages and installations that navigate residues of the past and creates new associations which relate to the formation of Australian identity and historical awareness.
A vibrant exhibition of artworks by Queensland’s top high school visual arts students, showcasing works on all forms of media. Held annually since 1990, the touring exhibition provides students with an opportunity to present their works to the community in a professional exhibition context.
A Department of Education, Training and Employment exhibition, supported by the Gallery of Modern
Selected works in all media by young people 15 - 18 years of age.

Are We There Yet? is a warm, heartfelt story based on an actual journey undertaken by Alison and her family when she was a child. The exhibition shows both the original illustrations as well as the preliminary and developmental stages in the making of the book - from Alison's children's actual travel
Paintings and artist prints from the permanent collection, shown in conjunction with artworks by local Murri artists and presented in celebration of National NAIDOC Week 7-14 July 2013.

The Young Dancers Company of Central Qld presents "Power Soup", a unique multimedia and dance installation choreographed by professional dancer Fleur Conlon in collaboration with visual artist Rigobert Pupache. Power Soup is a dialogue between movement, space and visual art creating an atmosphere of what symbolises power in an industrial zone and how that affects Gladstone.
