The 2012 Curtis Coast Literary Carnivale's Write On! workshops will be held at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, Sunday July 22, providing a fantastic opportunity for local adults and young adults to experience the exciting author / illustrator art forms.
Workshops topics include Illustrating a Story, Writing Picture Books, The Picture Book Process, as well as Writing Fiction for Young Adults and Children.
Award winning authors / illustrators David Legge, Frances Watts, Jackie French and Anne Spudvilas will present the four workshops, followed by a dynamic Panel Discussion on Writing and Publishing, chaired by Carnivale President Dr Robyn Sheahan-Bright.

As part of the Carnivale and Write On! celebrations, the Gallery/Museum will host The Picture Book Art of Legge & Spudvilas, featuring a selection of original illustrations by David Legge and Anne Spudvilas, a rare opportunity to discover the transformation from preliminary sketch to printed page.
