Local artists, arts workers and the community will come together Saturday 6 August 2016, to hear Cr Cindi Bush, Chairperson Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), announce five new arts projects for the Gladstone Region.

All are invited to celebrate with the successful recipients of the RADF Special Round June 2016, during a Funding Presentation Ceremony held at 4.45pm Saturday

'Golding Showcase: Port Curtis Callide Valley Youth Art Exhibition' is in its final days of display at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, closing 6 August 2016.  Running annually for 22 years, the highly popular exhibition features works in all mediums by local visual art students, aged 15 to 18 years.

'The Picture Book Art'

Brand new to the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum is the vibrant exhibition, 'The Picture Book Art of Gregg Dreise, Dave Hackett and Lucia Masciullo'.  Available to view until August 13, the imaginative display features original illustrations from popular children's book author/illustrators.  The exhibition runs in conjunction with the 2016 Curtis Coast Literary Carnivale (CCLC), held
