Call goes out for artists and creatives looking to exhibit at GRAGM

The team at GRAGM are calling for expressions of interest for artists and creatives to submit exhibition proposal ideas for the 2021/22

Students invited to paint what makes Australia great

As part of 2021 Australia Day celebrations, Gladstone Regional Council is calling for entries in the Celebrate Australia Primary School Art Competition.

Gladstone Region Deputy Mayor Kahn Goodluck said the competition, which will help us celebrate ‘who and what makes Australia great’, is open now to all primary school aged students.

A multimedia exhibition, an artist in residence and a community music video are some of the local arts projects to receive Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) assistance from Round Two of the 2019-2020 funding.

Gladstone Region Councillor and RADF Chair Glenn Churchill said Council accepted the recommendations of its RADF Committee to allocate a total of $75,655 to nine different recipients.

The 45th Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards 2020 exhibition of entries, supported by individuals, businesses and industry is on view until 30 January 2021.
