Submerged: Stories of Australia's Shipwrecks

-

Submerged is presented by the Australian National Maritime Museum and the Australian Maritime Museum’s Council membership and is the result of a national project with workshops held across the country to develop the exhibition and to source shipwreck stories. Sixty-eight shipwreck stories were nominated by 46 maritime museums and heritage institutions from around Australia with 14 of the most compelling stories selected to feature in the exhibition. This exhibition is supported by Visions of Australia, a government program aiming to improve access to cultural material with a focus on regional and remote Australia.

GRAGM is partnering with the Gladstone Maritime Museum to showcase maritime treasures from our region.
