School aged children in the Gladstone Region are invited to join local artist Rosemary Anderson for two FREE school holidays Under the Sea Lantern Making workshops, at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum.
Sculpting large sea creatures with soft cane, participants will use coloured paper to create a giant lantern, lit with LED lights, for the 2017 Gladstone Harbour Festival Ozzie & Friends Twilight Street Parade, Sunday April 16.
There are also workshop activities for smaller hands, with Rosemary tailoring a range of projects to suit a variety of age levels.
Come as a team, or as an individual, but be sure to join in all the fun in the school holidays and delight your friends as you participate in Gladstone Regional Council's Street Parade entry.
The workshops will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm, Monday and Wednesday April 10 and 12.
Basic materials are provided just bring your morning tea, water bottle and favourite art making clothes.
