Get messy with your child and enjoy the benefits of Art Play

Bring your little one along with you to the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum and join experienced children's art tutor, Tracey Smith, for some hassle-free fun!

Sessions are designed to enrich creativity and bonding between child and guardian, while taking the stress out of unrestricted art play. Prepare to get messy as your little one flexes their creative muscle and develops their fine motor skills in the process. 

The Tuesday, Art Play program has been tailored to suit very young children (18 months - 5 years) and has been developed with a focus on interactivity and visual art awareness, rather than creating a finished product.

How often you come is up to you. Attend one session or make it part of your weekly routine! Bookings are required as spaces are limited, phone 4976 6766 or email gragm@gladstone.qld.gov.au 

All materials will be provided, just be sure to wear your best "art clothes".

The Gallery & Museum is a friendly and welcoming space for the whole family so bring your creative adventurer along with you for some affordable, quality time together.

Parking is available behind the Gallery & Museum, off Bramston Street.

About the Tutor:

Tracy has spent the last 20 plus years contributing to the local arts scene; tutoring children in schools and childcare centres and mentoring residents of all ages. She is passionate about using art as a joyful vehicle for interaction, education and expression, allowing freedom for individuals to experience the art process in their own unique way.
