Designed for creative thinkers, this 3-hour workshop focuses on how to develop an effective project plan for your arts project. Whether you're new to project planning or looking to hone your skills, project planning is an essential skill for success and impactful arts projects.

Your project plan is the first building block for seeking grant funding, sponsors and partnerships for your next arts initiative. This workshop will cover:

  • Project planning essentials: Why? What? How? Who? When? Where?
  • Creating a detailed and realistic project timeline
  • How to approach your budget
  • Managing project risks
  • Community and stakeholder engagement
  • Project monitoring, evaluation and documentation
  • Audiences, attendees and participants - considering the outcomes of your project for others
  • Templates, toolkits and resources to support your project planning

Participants will leave this workshop with a simple, one-page project plan for further development.
