Gladstone Region artists are invited to join award-winning local artist Belynda (Bindi) Waugh for a Pop-Up Public Art Proposal Writing workshop at the Gallery & Museum, from 10.30am to 12.30pm Saturday, November 23.
The Gallery & Museum will soon be calling on local artists to Take pART, during a creative pop-up project that will see visual and performing artists collaborate, in conjunction with Gladstone Regional Council’s 2020 Community Events.
Supported by Council’s Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), Take pART Act II provides the opportunity for local artists to work together innovatively, making new connections across the region.
Bindi’s workshop will give you plenty of guidance on how to put your best proposal forward, when submissions are called. Artists from across the region are encouraged to participate in the workshop, provision for travel will be considered.
Following the workshop, Bindi will be available to provide specific guidance on your written proposal before you submit.
RADF is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
