Inspired by Ad Wer: Story of the Stars from Eastern Torres Strait, join local artist Geoff Head for a linocut workshop.
This workshop will introduce participants to the linocut process and the materials required.
Participants will visit the works in the gallery by Tommy Pau to gain an appreciation of the images produced by this method of printmaking before developing their own images to transfer to lino. Participants will carve the lino and produce a small edition of prints on paper.
There are two sessions available:
Thursday 5 July 2018 10 am - 12.30 pm
Thursday 5 July 2018 2 pm - 4 pm
