About the course

In this course CQ artist Jacky Chan will show you how to sketch the urban landscape from observation as well as construct it from photographs. You will learn how to sketch the built environment, from introduction to linear perspective and basic architectural styles to completing a finished drawing.

 

Age: Adults

Level: Beginners

Dates: Saturdays, 29 May – 19 June (4 weeks)

Time: 1.30-4.30pm 

Cost: $80 for 4 weeks (non-refundable payment to be made when booking)

About the artist

Currently based in Rockhampton, Jacky Chan has completed 5 years of studying followed by teaching realist painting at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. Jacky is highly experienced in teaching art, from portraiture to still life and landscapes, further complemented by his extensive background in architectural design. This course will be Jacky’s first opportunity to teach in Gladstone.
