CALL FOR ART - THE 30TH GOLDING SHOWCASE: PORT CURTIS CALLIDE VALLEY YOUTH ART EXHIBITION

Are you between the ages of 15-18 years old? Would you like to have your artwork exhibited in a professional gallery? 

Enter your work into the Golding Showcase and be exhibited at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum alongside works by other emerging artists.

This annual exhibition is an initiative of the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum Society, supported by the late society patron, Mr Cyril Golding (1920-2012).

Each year a local secondary school is invited to the Art Gallery & Museum to assist with the installation of the exhibition and opening event. 

PRIZES

To celebrate 30 years of The Golding Showcase, we have introduced a First Place Cash Prize. The winning entry will be judged by the Curator of the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, announced at the Official Opening and will be awarded $500.00.

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

Your work could also be voted People’s Choice by our visitors. The winning entry of the People’s Choice will be announced at the exhibition’s conclusion and will be featured in all publicity materials for The Golding Showcase 2025.

27 September to 5 October 2024. 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday, 10am-1.30pm, Saturday
