All are welcome to join us for a great morning with the wonderful creatives from our community!

A selection of Award-winning local artists will feature at the Art Awards Artist Talks, from 10.30am Saturday, 20 November 2021.

This event is part of The 46^th Rio Tinto & QAL Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards 2021 exhibition, currently on display at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum.

The guest speakers are:

• Kairen Kerr: Winner of The 46^th Rio Tinto & QAL Martin Hanson Memorial Art Award, for her work ‘TENTBOXERS’
• Christine Holden: Winner of The Pamela Whitlock Memorial Acquisitive Award, sponsored by Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, for her work ‘Pods’
• Marina Andrews: Winner of The Installers Choice Award, sponsored by Laureen Tkacik, for her work ‘Max Joyriding’;
• Gladstone Community Linking Agency: Highly Commended in Section 1: Easel Paintings for their work ‘Dolphin in Paradise’ (selected artists will present)

The Artist Talks will be a held as a mix of in-person and recorded presentations.

The 46th Rio Tinto & QAL Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards 2021 exhibition of entries is supported by individuals, businesses and industry.
