Air Dry Clay Workshop
Inspired by The Octopus Woman: A Tribute to Maria exhibition, participants are invited to explore and express a personal connection or bond, whether to another person, an object, an idea, or an aspect of themselves, through sculptural form.
Using air‑dry clay, each participant will create a unique inspired piece that symbolises this connection in a personal and meaningful way.
Participants will be guided through essential air‑dry clay techniques, including:
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will take home their completed clay artwork in a small glass dome for display.

Andreia Pereira (b. 1983, Porto, Portugal) is a multidisciplinary visual artist currently based in Gladstone, Australia. She holds a First Degree in Fine Arts (Sculpture) from the University of Porto and completed specialised studies in Communication and Design, alongside further training in glassblowing, printmaking, and an artist residency in sculpture at the Rio Maior Salines in Portugal.
