Ainslie McMahon & Gail Meyer Artist Talk

Join artists Ainslie McMahon & Gail Meyer as they present an artist talk in response to her current exhibition Transfiguration of Place.

An informal artist talk walking around the gallery, with the opportunity for questions at the end. Gail will discuss her work and Joanne’s work, Ainsley will discuss Carmen’s work and her own.
They will acknowledge the Gladstone Ports website history books( https://www.gpcl.com.au/our-history) which were an incredibly rich source of information and images for researching Gladstone’s history. 
They will also will be discussing the use of recycled materials utilised in the artworks, plus processes such as batik on paper and canvas, and dry point etching in some of the artworks.
