NAIDOC Week (5 - 12 July 2015) celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.  The acronym originally stood for ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’.  In conjunction with the annual national event, the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum show Arts NAIDOC and this year is exhibiting a selection of vibrant paintings

Bimblebox: art – science - nature is an exhibition that showcases artists’ interpretations of the Bimblebox Nature Refuge which is currently under threat from coal mining. 

Inspired by the unique ark of life found at the Bimblebox Nature Refuge, a group of artists camped on the reserve documenting, drawing and recording in order to capture the environmental, social and scientific significance

The Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is seeking nominations from interested community members during their 2015 Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, 5.30pm Wednesday 15 July 2015.

The RADF is a program developed by Arts Queensland and administered by Gladstone Regional Council, providing funding for development of arts

The Gladstone Arts Council Inc. was pleased to announce the winners of the annual Green Scenes: Environmental Short Film Competition film competition.

The Ultimate Film Prize, an iPad Mini 16GB, was awarded to Tallulah Marsh and Jo Duke for their entry entitled GROWiNg IN GLADSTONE.

The Supreme Filmmaker Prize, a professional development session with Capricorn Film Festival's Mr
