Look no further, there is always plenty to do and see at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Exhibitions:

The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum have a number of family friendly exhibitions planned for over the 2014 / 2015 school holidays.

There are general activities available that children can do while they are visiting the Gallery & Museum for FREE such as activity books and hands-on craft.

 

 

 

Workshops:

There are also a number of workshops available during December across the Region in lead up to the 2015 Celebrate Australia Primary School Art Competition and exhibition which is coming up in February 2015.

SUNfest:

The other fun thing to consider these school holidays is SUNfest!
This Gladstone Regional Council annual event is a Youth Holiday Program running 5-16 January 2015 and offers activities for kids aged 10 to 17 years.

One of the SUNfest 2015 activities involves the Gallery & Museum exhibition We'll Be Ready For It Next Time.

Flood Townships of the Future - Art Installation:  Students will Join local artist Rosemary Anderson to construct an art installation using the same materials found in her exhibition to create an exciting “flood proof town” of the future.
