National Archives Director General to visit Gladstone
The Director-General of the National Archives of Australia, Ross Gibbs, will officially open Just Add Water: Schemes and Dreams for a Sunburnt Country at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum at 6.30pm on Friday, 20 April 2007.
Drawing on the extensive resources at the National Archives, this topical exhibition takes a closer look at some of the water schemes attempted in Australia's history.
This hands-on exhibition is supported by Visions of Australia, an Australian Government Program supporting touring exhibitions by providing funding assistance for the development and touring of cultural material across Australia.
