Gladstone Region RADF announces special emerging performing artist opportunity, closing Friday 24 August 2012

The Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is calling for Category One submissions from emerging performing artists in Year 10, 11 or 12 to attend the Artslink Queensland MAD Camp.

MAD Camp is a week-long music, art, drama and dance residency for senior secondary students during the September school holidays.

Students will take daily classes in music, art, drama and dance with skilled industry professionals, see live performances, visit South Bank’s Cultural Precinct, and go behind-the-scenes with backstage theatre tours.

When: Spring Holiday School, 23 – 29 September 2012
Where: Ipswich Girls Grammar School (IGGS), Cnr Queen Victoria Parade & Chermside Road, East Ipswich
Who: Young people in years 10, 11 and 12
Fee: $395 (includes all accommodation, meals, performances, workshops and excursions)

Your completed application form must include a reference form your performing arts teacher and be received at the Gallery/Museum by Friday 24 August 2012.

The RADF is a Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland and Gladstone Regional Council partnership program to support local arts and culture.
