Gladstone Arts Council Inc. Annual General Meeting
Gladstone Arts Council Inc. (GAC) will hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 5.30 pm Tuesday, 1 December 2015 for a 6.00 pm start. New and current GAC members and supporters are encouraged to attend.
The AGM will be held at the Kroombit Room at the Boyne Tannum Community Centre, cnr Hayes and Wyndham Aves, Boyne Island.
The GAC will be electing a committee for 2016 and are seeking interested persons to nominate for the available positions.
As part of the evening event, a short presentation regarding the proposed Pipeline Project 2016 will be made by current Secretary Lee McIvor.
Nominations are called for all positions including; President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Publicity Officer and Schools Liaison Officer.

GAC aims to invigorate the cultural life of the community by encouraging artistic expression, establishing networks and supporting opportunities for participation in arts and cultural activities. GAC is affiliated with Artslink Queensland (formerly Queensland Arts Council), which is one of the largest regional arts networks and not-for-profit community based arts organisations in the state. Artslink Qld is supported by State and Federal Governments, as well as working closely with local Councils to play a national advocacy role for regional arts as this state’s member of Regional Arts Australia.
