Gallery/Museum closed Monday & Tuesday 28 & 29 June 2010
Management and staff wish to advise, the Gallery/Museum will be closed on Monday and Tuesday June 28 & 29, for staff training.
The training will provide the opportunity for staff and volunteers to gain valuable new skills to operate a fantastic new collection management system for the community's art and history collections.
The Vernon Catalogue system will bring the Gallery/Museum's digitally stored information up to the highest national standards and provide the chance for an exciting future development planned for an online community access program, including items of significance held in other collections within the Gladstone region.
The Vernon Catalogue project is a community cultural initiative of the Gladstone Regional Council with the assistance of the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
