FREE workshops to help celebrate Australia
The 2009 Celebrate Australia Primary School Art Competition is in full swing with young artists from all over the Gladstone Region flexing some creative muscle to tell us 'who and what' they think makes Australia great.
Entries close at 5pm Friday 19 December 2008 and winners will be announced on stage at the Gladstone Marina during Council's Australia Day celebrations.
To assist budding artists with their entries students have the opportunity to participate in two FREE workshops with local artist Kim Scrimshaw.
10am - 12 pm Wednesday, 17 December 2008 at the Boyne Tannum Community Centre and
10am - 12 pm Thursday, 18 December 2008 at the Gallery Museum
Basic materials will be provided, just bring along your fantastic ideas.
