FREE workshop opportunity with Creative Regions 2009

Take the opportunity to join Creative Regions? Director, Shelly Pisani as she presents three workshops and Culture Clinics in the Gladstone Region.

Creative Regions has been contracted by Arts Queensland to provide support to the regions? artists and cultural workers.

The workshops and Clinics are offered free-of-charge providing the opportunity for locals to gain valuable advice on areas such as project development and grant applications.

If you have ever thought about applying for funding for an innovative arts project or looking to expand or develop your cultural group?s operation or enhance your event with an arts project, Shelley?s workshop or one-on-one discussion sessions are just what you?re looking for.

Earlier this year, three well-attended Clinics were held at Captain Creek, Boyne Island and Gladstone.

This next visit will present opportunities at another three local venues:

1pm - 3pm Monday November 30
QCWA Hall, King George St Mt Larcom

9am - 12pm Tuesday December 1
CWA Hall, Railway Tce Ubobo

9am - 12pm, Wednesday December 2
Gallery Room, Community Centre/Library, Don Cameron Dr, Calliope

Individuals and groups can book in for one-on-one advice on specific project and funding needs immediately following these workshops, but places are limited.

Findings from the workshops will be summarised and presented to the Gladstone Regional Council, Arts Queensland and the Australia Council for the Arts with recommendations for service delivery in 2010.
