Flying Arts Workshop Opportunity - Environmental Sculpture with Casselle Mountford

Flying Arts Inc and Tondoon Botanic Gardens' 20 Year Birthday Celebrations have teamed up to present two workshop opportunities with Brisbane artist Casselle Mountford.


Casselle has been working as an exhibiting artist since 1994. She is interested in revealing the generative forces and growth patterns within the environment working mainly with natural fibres, wood and assemblages of found objects.


On Saturday, 25 October 2008 from 9am to 12pm Casselle will be working with local artists Rosemary Anderson, Tracey Smith and Rita Moller during Art in the Park an exciting morning of arts and crafts activities in the Gardens. On Sunday, 26 October 2008, from 9.30am to 12pm Casselle will be working with the Senior Art Students from local High Schools at the Gardens creating fantasy creatures, either free standing or suspended.
