Calling artists Expressions of Interest now open

The Central Queensland Regional Arts Services Network (CQ-RASN), is calling for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local artists, to participate in an Animation and Projection project.

An initiative of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, CQ-RASN is a new model of regional arts delivery, enabling diverse CQ communities to connect and encouraging cross-regional collaboration.

CQUniversity has been appointed as the Central Queensland RASN provider with initial funding provided for three years. Activities will focus on networking and capacity building with cross-regional projects.

In partnership with the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum and the Australia Pacific LNG STEM Central Hub at CQUniversity's Gladstone Marina Campus, the Animation and Projection project is a professional development opportunity for Central Queensland's practicing and emerging artists.

CQRASN is offering 20 FREE places to attend a two-day Animation and Projection weekend workshop in Gladstone, 29-30 June 2019.

Led by award winning multimedia artist Donna Maree Robinson, workshop participants will learn how to use the iMotion app (on iPhones or iPads) to create an animated digital artwork based on their own illustrations, as well as how to plan and project their work outdoors.

EOI's close 5pm, Sunday, 2 June 2019. Further information is available, please download a copy of the EOI below and visit: http://cqregionalarts.net where the ARTS are central!
