Animating Spaces Artist Information Session
Take the opportunity to meet the community coordinators of 2014 Animating Spaces Gladstone Frolic, during an Artist Information Session at the Gallery & Museum from 4.30pm to 6pm, Friday March 7.
An initiative of Artslink Queensland, Animating Spaces is a community based multi-arts project which aims to revitalise and celebrate significant, non-traditional or unusual spaces within 15 regional communities across Queensland over three years.
Following a successful submission, the Gladstone Region has joined the initiative securing $60,000 in funding to present an exciting event of arts activities Saturday September 27, at the Gladstone Aquatic Centre precinct.
Come along to hear the local community coordinators as they provide a progress update of their plans and find out how you can become involved in this fantastic community led opportunity.
Animating Spaces is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts, Arts Queensland, Regional Arts Australia and the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
The RADF is a Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council partnership program to support local arts and culture.
