Past Exhibitions


Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM) selects exhibition in several strategic ways that reflect community desires and tourism drivers, while maintaining our commitment to growing and developing regional creative talent.  We also introduce our audiences to cultural content from other regional and national centres to continue to broaden their knowledge and experiences.

    Captain Creek artist Jennifer M Ryan's dramatic experience on the  Bruce Highway affected her more than she could have predicted. Work after her traumatic experience and 10 day hospital stay gave her new perspectives when approaching her artwork, and increased her commitment to experiment beyond old boundaries.

    Sharing the stories of the 1949 inaugural Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, we celebrate 75 years of welcoming the competitors across the finish line.
