Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM) selects exhibition in several strategic ways that reflect community desires and tourism drivers, while maintaining our commitment to growing and developing regional creative talent. We also introduce our audiences to cultural content from other regional and national centres to continue to broaden their knowledge and experiences.

Photographers of the Gladstone Region are invited to capture the spirit of Central Queensland's lifestyle, people and environment for this annual photographic exchange between residents living in the Gladstone Region and Saiki City, Japan.
The inaugural Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race was held in 1949. 2018 marks the 70th edition of the ocean classic. This heritage exhibition showcases a selection of historical images and memorabilia throughout the years, from the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum collection, as well as items on loan from the community.
A World View: The Tim Fairfax Gift is the story of a deep commitment to contemporary art and to the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern (QAGOMA). Since 2002, Tim Fairfax AC, has supported the acquisition of some of the most remarkable works. Reflecting this generosity, the regional touring exhibition presents works by renowned and emerging artists.
Presenting a series of artworks created by young children from Saiki City, Japan. This year we have fifteen entries on display from students aged 7 to 15 years. Schools include Saiki Elementary School, Aoyama Gakuin Elementary School, Kamikatata Elementary School, and Tsuruya Junior High School.

The 42nd Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards 2017, supported by local industry, business and the community. Visitors are encouraged to take part in this year's QAL People's Choice Awards by voting at the kiosks available within the Gallery & Museum until 5pm, Thursday 30 November 2017.

Official opening and launch of the publication by Cr Matt Burnett, Mayor Gladstone Region and guest speakers, 1pm Thursday 24 August 2017. A light lunch will be served from 12pm.
