Vie Du Pacifique III

Pacific Perimeter Exchange Print Folio 2020-21

The 2020-21 print folio exchange Vie Du Pacifique III, is a continuation of the innovative Pacific Perimeter International print exchange series first conceived and initiated by Jenny Sanzaro-Nishimura in 2012 as Vie Du Pacifique – Pacific Life: Pacific Perimeter Print Exchange. The 2020-21 exchange is again curated under the umbrella of Migaloo Press and features the prints of artists from eight studios/groups in five countries in and around the Pacific Ocean.

With a strong theme addressing climate change running through the artworks, the exhibition includes prints by 37 artists from the Pacific region, including Artists from four studios spanning the Pacific Coastal regions in Queensland Australia, as well as artists from California, Fiji, the Philippines and New Zealand.

The Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum will acquire the Queensland Vie Du Pacifique III folio box to hold alongside the works of the two previous Vie Du Pacifique-Pacific Life folio boxes, which will also be displayed in this exhibition.
