The Octopus Woman: A tribute to Maria

Inspired by a revival of childhood memories after her grandmother’s passing, the artist presents a series of artworks that combine a varied range of mediums as ceramics, glass, copper and printmaking. Maria is celebrated as a woman of many hearts, with many tentacles embodying the metaphor of the mischievous octopus.
