Our Priceless Past 2007: Oral histories and photographs

Presenting the stories of the region's seniors as told by local secondary school students. This annual exhibition and accompanying souvenir publication is the key event in Seniors Week celebrations in the Port Curtis area.

Initiated to celebrate International Year of the Older Persons in 1999, Our Priceless Past has showcased over 130 seniors living in our community to date. This award winning project has received state and nationwide recognition including the Australian Business Arts Foundation Qantaslink Regional Award honoring the best private sector relationships with the arts.

A Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum initiative, held in conjunction with The Observer and Ergon Energy.
