This exhibition evolved in response to the post-lockdown freedom to spread our wings and travel again, to document the journey and the recollections of the experience.

The works depict parts of sites encountered by the artist, taking snapshots of a significant small patch of the ground, incorporating the natural environment and what lies there.

The images map the landscapes visited, and document the organic forms, textures and surfaces unique to each place.

The artworks developed from photographic images to form compositions have been manipulated to enhance them, to exaggerate the uniqueness of each location and to reflect the artists interest in these environments.
