2009 Intercity Images: Photographic Exchange

Entries open to all residents of the Gladstone Regional Council.

Local photographers are invited to capture the spirit of the Gladstone region's Lifestyle, People and the Environment and share these images with our sister city, Saiki in Japan.

The annual photographic exchange, opens with a display of all Gladstone entries at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum where thirty entries will be selected for for the exchange.

Selected images will be shown alongside those of Saiki City photographers in our Japanese sister city during June before making the journey back to Gladstone for display at the Gallery/Museum in August, in conjunction with the Gladstone Multicultural Festival.

The thirty local photographs will be announced at a function held at the Gallery/Museum at 5.30pm on Wednesday, 8 April 2009 to coincide with the Gladstone Harbour Festival.

Photographers may submit up to two images before entries close at 5pm Friday, 3 April 2009. Entry forms can be downloaded below, picked up from any office of the Gladstone Regional Council or contact the Gallery/Museum on 4976 6766 to be sent a copy.

Now in its seventh year, Intercity Images is an initiative of the Gladstone Saiki Sister City Advisory Committee, proudly supported by the Gladstone Regional Council.
