Join local artist Rosemary Anderson at the Gallery & Museum in an exciting event that will run in conjunction with Rosemary's flood installation: We'll Be Ready For It Next Time. Students will use some of the same materials used in Rosemary's installation to create a "flood proof town" of the future.

Join Studio 8 Glass Gallery's internationally acclaimed glass artist Judith Bohm-Parr for a workshop exploring the art of glass fusion.
Held from 10.30am to 4.30pm Saturday, 10 January 2015 at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum.

In this workshop you will be using crushed glass (frit), cut pieces of glass and wire to create your favourite animals or flowers in textured glass to hang as a mobile. Designs will be provided or bring your own. No experience necessary, samples will be provided and glass will need to be picked up the following day after being fired in the kiln overnight.

How would you like to make your own sculpted glass paperweight? This full day workshop will involve clay modelling, plaster mould making and casting the glass to create a unique 3D glass art piece. No experience necessary, samples will be provided and glass will need to be picked up the following day after being fired in the kiln overnight.

The Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is calling on local groups or individuals to submit applications for the upcoming funding round closing 4pm Tuesday, 30 September 2014.
In preparation for the current funding round, Flying Arts Alliance Inc. Chief Officer Stephen Clark, will present a specialised Grant Writing Workshop opportunity at the Gallery & Museum.

Are you aged 12 to 17 and interested in filmmaking, audio recording, interviewing, digital media, journalism, reading or documentaries?
Brisbane Writers Festival and Human Ventures want you to be involved in a great project that is taking place in Gladstone and surrounds during the school holidays. The project is taking place from the 7th to the 11th of July.
