Anastasia La Fey is a costumier, couturier and collector of fine vintage garments.
With an integral philosophy rooted deep in the practice of true craftsmanship, her explorations of cloth span the realms of both art and design.
With a particular interest in costume for dance, Anastasia is pleased to be the costume designer for the Young Dancers’ presentation of The Magic Toyshop, and excited to share the art of costume/fashion design with the Gladstone Region through four exciting workshops.
WORKSHOP #4: Drafting a Basic Skirt Block
This workshop is an introduction to one of the templates of all costume / fashion design.
You'll learn that endless design variations can be created using a personalised skirt block from the most simple straight skirt to the most complex design imagined, from the skirt block.
