Budding filmmakers of the Gladstone Region have the chance to develop new skills during the Gladstone Arts Council's new media workshops next Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, May 13, 14 and 16.
Local artists Natisha Strudwick and Felicia Lloyd of Conspire Isis Theatre Ensemble will lead the FREE workshop opportunities and invite all to bring along their filming device, fully charged and ready to go.
The chance to develop the artform at a local level is ever present as new media artist tools are increasingly becoming more accessible.
Supported by the Gladstone Region Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) and held at the Gallery & Museum, the workshops will include filmmaking basics such as script writing, sound and editing skills.
All are encouraged to book early, as places are limited.
The RADF is a Queensland Government and Gladstone Regional Council partnership to support local arts and culture.
