In celebration of the 2016 theme, local artist Felicia Lloyd will be in residence at EcoFest presenting two digital art workshop opportunities, for filmmakers aged 8 to 15 years.

"Participants will create a short collaborative video artwork using Adobe Premiere software," Felicia said.

"They will explore layering still images, video footage and text, use transitions, effects and filters to create a time based artwork."

Editing the works together, Felicia will create a single film for display on the day and later uploaded to the internet for all to enjoy.

The one-hour workshops will be held in the Visitors Centre Gallery starting from 10am and 11.30am, bookings are essential.
