Kids' APT Summer Spectacular - Queensland!

Get a custom-designed tattoo, give yourself a mystical 'third eye', learn the art of Torres Strait Island storytelling, participate in a large collaborative drawing, manipulate cheeky foam characters and create your own postcard at the Kids' APT Summer Spectacular being held at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum on Saturday January 13, 10.30am-2.30pm.

For the first time, regional Queensland audiences will be able to enjoy Kids' APT Summer Spectacular without travelling to Brisbane.

Summer Spectacular - Queensland is an initiative of the Queensland Art Gallery Children's Art Centre. It is presented by Queensland Art Gallery Regional Services, which provides a program of travelling exhibitions and related services to regional Queensland.

The interactive art works in Summer Spectacular - Queensland are by artists in Kids' APT, which is part of 'The 5th Asia-Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art' (APT5) at the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art until 27 May 2007.

There will be lots of fun for the whole family and activities will run throughout the day so no one will miss out!
