'Art for Small People' at the Gallery & Museum

Let your child experience art....and don't worry about the mess!

Bring your small person with you to the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum and join qualified children's art tutor, Felicia Lloyd, for some hassle-free fun!

'Art for Small People' begins soon, in week 3 of school term 2. The 7 week program will kick off every Thursday from 4 May until 15 June 2017 from 10.30am - 11.15am.

Sessions are designed to enrich creativity and bonding between child and guardian, while taking the stress out of unrestricted art play. Prepare to get messy as your little one flexes their creative muscle and develops their fine motor skills in the process.

The 'Art for Small People' program has been tailored by Felicia to suit very young children (18 months - 5 years of age) and has been developed with a focus on interactivity and visual art awareness, rather than creating a finished product.

How often you come is up to you; attend one session or make it part of your weekly routine. Sessions cost $5 each week, per child, and all materials are provided, just wear art clothes. Bookings are appreciated, as spaces are limited, phone 4976 6766 or email gragm@gladstone.qld.gov.au

The Gallery & Museum is a friendly and welcoming space for the whole family, so bring your creative adventurer along with you for some affordable, quality time together.

About the tutor:  Felicia Lloyd is a talented local artist with a background as an art teacher.  She has an extensive arts practice in the region including solo exhibitions, facilitating art workshops, developing community art projects and event management.
