Sculptures by Daniel Templeman

Within a Flash brings together a selection of works by sculptor Daniel Templeman. Through his exploration of movement and light Templeman hopes to create a perceptual exchange between the viewer and the artwork. As the viewer moves in relation to the work their understanding of the work shifts to reveal not only the nature of the work but also of the process of seeing and doing.

Daniel Templeman has recently been awarded a Doctorate in Visual Arts from Queensland College of Art and has exhibited nationally and internationally.  He has completed major public art commissions around Australia including the Brisbane Magistrates Court, the Queensland/New South Wales border, Melbourne's CBD, University of Western Sydney, Southbank Educational Precinct and several works throughout Brisbane's CBD.

Daniel Templeman is represented by Sullivan + Strumpf Gallery.
