LOVE BiTES: Domestic Violence Prevention
An exhibition of works created in the LOVE BiTES Program since May 2018 to now. Artworks by local high school students, shown on paper, canvas and via digital displays. The interactive program is a Respectful Relationships Education Program for young people aged 15-17 years. It consists of two interactive workshops: one on Relationship Violence, and one on Sex and Relationships, followed by creative workshops and community campaigns and aims to break intergenerational cycles of domestic and family violence and stop the increasing rates of sexual assault.
An initiative of Coordinated Community Response to Domestic and Family Violence (CCRDFV), the LOVE BiTESProgram teaches local students the value of respectful relationships and raises awareness of domestic and family violence, and sexual assault.
