Wander through historical documents, photographs, maps, letters and other items from the Gallery/Museum's permanent collection and learn about the old 'Colony of North Australia'.
The area once comprised of all land in the Northern Territory as well as the present State of Queensland, with its capital being Port Curtis (now known as Gladstone).
