Memorial exhibition and world première concert Dark Wind Blowing,  song cycle based on the work of Val Vallis, composed by internationally acclaimed composer Elena Kats-Chernin and singer Christopher Saunders, who returns to Central Queensland with Stefan Cassomenos.

Val Vallis born Gladstone 1 August 1916 and died Brisbane 14 January 2009.

Presented by Arts Central Queensland Inc in conjunction with Gladstone Regional Council, assisted by the Gladstone Ports Corporation.
