2007 Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards

-

Celebrating its 32nd year, the Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards are a major highlight on Central Queensland?s cultural calendar and a nationally recognised event giving local artists the opportunity to exhibit and view their work alongside that of others from across Australia.

In 2006 entries were unique and innovative and ranged from traditional to contemporary. Artworks reflected views of the past, addressed current social issues and looked well into our future. The annual Art Awards also inspired public debate in the local community and continued to raise the profile of arts and culture in this region.

For an entry form or further information please email the Gallery/Museum at gragm@gragm.qld.gov.au or phone 07 4976 6766.
