All are welcome to join us for a great evening with the wonderful creatives from our community!

A selection of Award-winning local artists will feature at the Art Awards Artist Talks, from 6pm, Wednesday, 8 December 2021.

This event is part of The 46^th Rio Tinto & QAL Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards 2021 exhibition, currently on display at the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum.

The guest speakers are:

• Kym Barrett: Winner of Section 1: Easel Paintings First Prize, sponsored by QER Pty Ltd, for her work ‘Home, in a New Rhythm’
• Roslyn Head: Winner of Section 2: Works on Paper First Prize, sponsored by APLNG Conoco Phillips, for her work ‘Just for Show’
• Jude Kennedy: Winner of Section 3: Three Dimensional & Fibre Works First Prize, sponsored by Gladstone Ports Corporation, for her work ‘You can’t always see the Blues’
• Kristel Kelly: Winner of Section 4: Digital Works First Prize, sponsored by Gladstone Engineering Alliance, for her work ‘Quixotic Response’

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to meet and hear from these talented artists. Audience questions are welcome and encouraged!
